Some employers do offer health insurance to part-time workers. At the time of this writing, UPS, Starbucks, and Home Depot are three examples.
Check an employer’s website to find out more about its benefit policies. You can sometimes find out about health insurance benefits on the employers website under ‘About Us’ or ‘Careers’.
2)APPLY AT HOSPITALS
Hospitals often offer health insurance to part-time workers as a way to attract nurses. The policy usually extends to workers in other jobs as well. Check with hospitals in your area or talk to current hospital employees to see if they have a policy of offering health insurance to part-time workers.
3)APPLY AT SCHOOLS
School districts are another type of employer that has historically offered health insurance to part-timers. They may have part-time jobs available for teachers, para-professionals, office workers, and custodial staff.
