			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Many people may not realize that medical malpractice is a real and ever growing problem. People die everyday from wrong diagnoses and incorrect treatments. The problem is that most of these cases are private and many are never reported. A lot of the population does not know enough about medical practices to know when they are faced with a malpractice problem. They are forced to take the word of the doctor and staff at hand. This may explain why only a small number of claims are filed for malpractice suits and only about half of them actually win the lawsuit.</p>
<p>Physicians have medical malpractice insurance that will cover them in the event someone files a malpractice claim against them. In the past the cost for this type of insurance was a flat rate, but due to the fact that medical malpractice suits are on the rise, the cost for this insurance has also begun to rise. There are not as many providers for this type of insurance as it use to be. This is because medical costs are going up and it is very difficult to make a profit in this business.</p>
<p>Things that can be considered a medical malpractice would be failure to treat a medical problem correctly that causes a new medical problem or makes the existing one worse. If a physician fails to diagnose a disease, detects the problem to late to help the patient or fails to treat the condition correctly after it has been diagnosed it could be considered malpractice. If problems occur during the use of anesthesia or surgery that was due to the fault of the doctor or a member of the staff it could be malpractice. Also prescribing the wrong medication for a patient or medicine that interferes with other known conditions the patient may suffer from is also grounds for malpractice.</p>
<p>Medical malpractice suits are normally always expensive and very complicated. You must be able to provide all of the necessary information to your attorney to have a chance of winning a lawsuit of this nature. This would be information such as a detailed list of the patient&#8217;s medical history. This would include all doctors and hospitals or clinics that the patient has visited and all treatments that the patients received during this time, even if it seems unimportant. All medicines taken and prescribed must be recorded and a written description of all conversations that have taken place will be needed along with the dates everything took place. A medical expert will review the case and will ultimately be the one to decide if the suit is legitimate.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Now I&#8217;ve always thought that pain is mostly mental, it just makes sense. I&#8217;ve got myself into trouble with that statement before, but here is why I bring it up:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">I just finished writing several articles on different Diseases and Illnesses. Topics like: Tinnitus, and Thrush, Lice, Tuberculosis, Porphyria. What is Tinnitus? ricies. Where I&#8217;m going with this: After you look at pictures, read and write on these different topics, you start to feel unclean and a bit sick yourself. Why is that?Why is it that some people will faint when they give blood, and others can be surgeons?</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">A quick question. Do you believe that it is possible to give yourself a headache? Or a sore leg? a headache, or a stomach or a pimple or a?<span id="more-1658"></span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">It&#8217;s an interesting idea but after writing this article I haven&#8217;t been able to stop itching my head:</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Pediculosis, is the technical term for infestation of lice. Lice are parasitic insects that live on the bodies of humans. Often times this condition is known by its more common street names: Head/Pubic/Body lice.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Most commonly symptoms of lice infestation include itching. If excessive this itching or scratching of the infested areas can cause sores. These sore area&#8217;s can become infected.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">There are some pretty nasty things out there. My suggesion: sensitize and sanitize yourself from as many as them as possible. Don&#8217;t get curious and look at the pictures, or read the info. Avoid contact with infected people and washing your hair never went too far astray.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">The first free help to stop smoking resource is of course the internet. There are hundreds of articles dedicated to smoking cessation, all offering free advice, tips, and techniques. Online discussion groups dedicated to smoking cessation is another form of free help to stop smoking. These groups are attended by people just like you – all trying hard to stop smoking completely, sharing their problems and tricks for overcoming their nasty smoking habits. Believe it or not, you need this kind of support much more than expensive medications or behavior therapy programs with famous shrinks.<span id="more-1591"></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p style="text-align: justify;">Many of us make health-related resolutions, such as to lose weight, stop smoking or join the neighborhood health club. While it is common to set high goals, experts say that setting smaller goals could do more for our health.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">&#8220;Small steps are achievable and are easier to fit into your daily routine,&#8221; says James O. Hill, Ph.D., Director of the Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. &#8220;They are less overwhelming than a big, sudden change.&#8221;<span id="more-104"></span></p>
<p>Here are 10 to try:</p>
<p>1. Stop gaining weight. Even if you gain just a pound or two every year, the extra weight adds up quickly.</p>
<p>2. Take more small steps. Use a pedometer to count your daily steps; then add 2,000, the equivalent of one extra mile. Keep adding steps, 1,000 to 2,000 each month or so, until you take 10,000 steps on most days.</p>
<p>3. Eat breakfast. Breakfast eaters tend to weigh less and have better diets overall. For a filling and nutrition-packed breakfast, top Whole Grain Total® with fresh fruit slices and low-fat or fat-free milk.</p>
<p>4. Switch three grain servings each day to whole grain. If you&#8217;re like the average American, you eat less than one whole grain serving a day.</p>
<p>5. Have at least one green salad every day. Eating a salad (with low-fat or fat-free dressing) is filling and may help you eat less during the meal. It also counts toward your five daily cups of vegetables and fruits.</p>
<p>6. Trim the fat. Fat has a lot of calories, and calories count. Purchase lean meats, eat poultry without the skin, switch to lower-fat cheeses, use a nonstick pan with only a dab of oil or butter.</p>
<p>7. Consider calcium by including two or three daily servings of low-fat or fat-free milk or yogurt. Dairy calcium is good for bones and may also help you lose weight.</p>
<p>8. Downsize. The smaller the bag, bottle or bowl, the less you will eat.</p>
<p>9. Lose just 5 to 10 percent of your current weight. The health benefits are huge-lower blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol and triglycerides.</p>
<p>10. Keep track of your eating. Write down what you eat over the next couple of days and look for problem spots. Often, just writing things down can help you eat less</p>
